Throughout these Terms, "Rise Academy," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Rise Academy. "Student," "you," and "your" refer to any person who accesses our website, submits a registration, purchases or enrolls in a program, participates in a class, or otherwise uses our Services. By accessing or using the Rise Academy website, submitting a registration, purchasing a program, creating an account, or participating in our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our applicable policies. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Rise Academy website or Services. --- ABOUT RISE ACADEMY Rise Academy provides online tutoring, academic support, examination preparation, educational programs, learning resources, and related educational services. Our programs may include preparation and support for examinations and qualifications including, but not limited to: * GED * CXC/CSEC * Mathematics * Reading and Language Arts * Science * Social Studies * Other academic subjects or programs offered by Rise Academy Rise Academy may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue programs, services, features, schedules, or resources where reasonably necessary. --- ELIGIBILITY You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering for or using Rise Academy Services. Rise Academy reserves the right to determine whether an applicant is eligible for a particular program. Submission of a registration form: * does not guarantee acceptance; * does not constitute completed enrollment; * does not guarantee a place in a program; and * does not create an obligation for Rise Academy to provide Services until the applicable registration, approval, enrollment, and payment requirements have been satisfied. Where a student is under the age of majority or otherwise requires the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, the parent or guardian may be required to provide consent, information, authorization, or payment. --- REGISTRATION AND APPROVAL Prospective students may be required to complete a Rise Academy registration form before enrollment. All registration information must be accurate and complete. Rise Academy may: * review registration information; * request additional information; * approve or decline a registration; * cancel an incomplete registration; * determine that a student is unsuitable for a particular program where reasonably necessary; or * offer an alternative program or future intake where appropriate. A student should not assume that registration has been approved unless they receive an official communication from Rise Academy confirming approval. Rise Academy may contact the applicant using the contact information provided during registration. --- ENROLLMENT A student's enrollment is not considered complete solely because a registration form has been submitted or approved. Enrollment may require: 1. submission of a registration; 2. approval by Rise Academy; 3. selection or purchase of the applicable Pricing Plan; 4. successful completion of the required payment; 5. acceptance of applicable policies and terms; and 6. completion of any additional enrollment requirements communicated by Rise Academy. A student's place in a program is subject to the applicable enrollment and payment requirements. Rise Academy reserves the right to limit enrollment based on program capacity, scheduling, operational requirements, or other reasonable considerations. --- FEES AND PAYMENT The fees applicable to each program will be communicated through the Rise Academy website, registration process, Pricing Plan, quotation, invoice, checkout process, or other official Rise Academy communication. Where a program is offered through a payment plan, the student or responsible payer agrees to pay the required registration fee, recurring payments, installments, or other applicable charges according to the selected plan. The student or responsible payer is responsible for ensuring that: * payment information is accurate; * sufficient funds are available where applicable; * scheduled payments are made when due; and * any payment issues are addressed promptly. Failure to make required payments may affect enrollment, access to Services, access to program materials, or continued participation, subject to the applicable payment terms and policies. Rise Academy reserves the right to take reasonable steps to recover outstanding amounts where payment obligations remain unpaid. --- PRICING PLANS AND RECURRING PAYMENTS Certain Rise Academy programs may be offered through recurring or installment-based Pricing Plans. The purchaser is responsible for reviewing the Pricing Plan before completing the purchase, including: * the total cost; * registration or initial fees; * recurring payment amounts; * payment frequency; * number of payments; * applicable start and end dates; and * any other material terms presented during checkout. Where recurring payments are applicable, payment processing may continue according to the agreed payment schedule unless the plan is cancelled or otherwise terminated in accordance with the applicable terms and policies. --- REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS AND PAYMENT ISSUES Refunds, cancellations, withdrawals, payment disputes, and related matters are governed by the applicable Rise Academy policies. The existence of a separate Refund & Cancellation Policy does not remove the student's obligation to comply with the payment terms accepted during enrollment. Requests for refunds or cancellations must be submitted using the method specified by Rise Academy. Rise Academy reserves the right to assess refund or cancellation requests based on the applicable policy and the circumstances of the request. **Please review the Rise Academy Refund & Cancellation Policy for complete details.** --- STUDENT ACCOUNTS AND ACCESS Students may be required to create or use an account to access Rise Academy Services.
